Academic Transcripts

If you began your studies before Michaelmas Term 2007

Students who commenced their studies before Michaelmas Term 2007 should continue to contact the Jesus College Academic Office for transcripts. Please email emily.huang@jesus.ox.ac.uk

Normally it takes roughly 3 days to produce a transcript, but please do say if you need one urgently and we will do our best.

Ordering copies of final transcripts

You can order additional copies of your final transcript at a cost of £10 each through the University online shop. If you are expecting examination results, please wait until you receive your results in Student Self Service before requesting extra copies of a final transcript. Requests placed before your results are released may not include your final results.

Application for transcripts must be made by you. Requests for copies of the transcript by a third party will not be actioned.

Ordering on-course transcripts

If you haven’t yet completed your course, you can request copies of your on-course transcript. This will show your academic achievement to date but will not include a final classification. An on-course transcript will reflect the information you see in Student Self Service and is only available once you are entered for an assessment. If your assessments have not yet appeared in Student Self Service and you are still studying at the University, the enrolment certificate available through Student Self Service will act as a certificate of attendance.

On-course transcripts can be ordered at a cost of £10 each online at the University online shop.

Degree confirmation letters

If you have passed your examinations and have not had your degree conferred at a degree ceremony, or if you have attended a ceremony but require proof of your award to present to a third party, you can request a degree confirmation letter free of charge. The letter will confirm that you have successfully completed your course at the University of Oxford, the dates of attendance and the classification you received.

You may order degree confirmation letters through the University online shop. When ordering letters through the online shop you will not have to input payment details in order to complete your order.

If you have chosen to collect your confirmation letter, we will notify you by email when it is available. If you would like somebody to collect the confirmation letter on your behalf, please email the name of the person to Degree Conferrals. When you collection your confirmation letter you will need to bring a photo ID with you to ensure the document is release to the correct person.

In order to obtain a degree confirmation letter for a Research degree, you need to have submitted a hardbound copy of your thesis together with an electronic copy if applicable.
