The purpose of the Inspection Report is to draw to your attention areas of non-compliance, in premises, equipment, processes and working practices, that contravene current health and safety legislation and that were identified during my recent visit. It has been designed to help you meet your obligations to provide, so far as is reasonably practicable, a safe working environment for the health, safety and welfare of your employees, as well as others who may be affected by your activities. It is a means to an end; not an end in itself.

JESUS COLLEGE RACIAL EQUALITY ACTION PLAN FOR 2008/9 (Race Relations (Amendment) Act 2000 – RRAA) In developing the Action Plan the College has adopted the following principles to: place responsibility at an appropriate level; reduce risk whilst maintaining a principle of proportionality; implement actions directly specified by the Act; seek to mesh RRAA activity with activity that is already being undertaken or that has to be undertaken; seek to implement the RRAA in a manner that is consistent with institutional culture; and work towards early successes and publicise them.

Jesus College, Oxford Flu Pandemic Plan (Draft 3)
The University has circulated a pandemic influenza plan and has instigated a Pandemic Planning Team to plan and review procedures prior to an outbreak of influenza in the UK. A counterpart to the University team set up within the College has the role of planning and reviewing procedures within the College, assessing outcomes and amending plans and procedures in the event of an outbreak of influenza, and liaising with the University Pandemic Planning Team. This is the working draft plan for Jesus College, Oxford.
