NEW!

Where She Belongs (November 2009)

This is my latest composition, played on the red Strat
that I use for lecture demonstrations, triple-tracked.

Fighting On (2009)

I played this for the first time at the Criterion Theatre, Piccadilly,
during a Maths Inspiration show, in November 2009.
The tune is about a battle, and this is a 3-track version.

Grand Arcade

I wrote this tune in 2005, and have performed it several times
in public maths lectures as an electric guitar solo. This is a new
version with 4 tracks, all recorded with the same red Strat.

Overhead Wires (2005)

Appointment With A Lady At 8.00 (2009)

Rain On The Promenade (2009)

These two compositions date really from the early 1970s,
and my singer-songwriter days in Oxford folk clubs.

I have recently re-worked them as instrumentals, using my
Harald Petersen classical guitar, double-tracked, and played
plectrum-style. 'Rain' is about the seaside, out of season, and
'Appointment' is about a first date between two shy people.

Coffee At Nuneaton (2009)

This guitar solo uses some vaguely ragtime ideas, and is
a little tribute to the coffee shop at Nuneaton Station.
